Hartselle Fire and Rescue (HFR) is a combination fire department consisting of career firefighters and volunteers. HFR has two fire stations and has an ISO Class 4 fire rating. HFR responds to all fires, MVAs, emergency medical calls, HAZMAT, and other incidents within the incorporated city limits of Hartselle. The Fire Department is constantly training its own personnel and conducts various Alabama Fire College classes that are open to outside agencies. Other programs offered by Hartselle Fire and Rescue include fire prevention and safety training.

We are a service provider and stand ever ready to render fire suppression, provide emergency medical care, and perform rescue services. We will faithfully provide these vital services, rapidly and safely, to anyone who lives in, works in, or visits the City of Hartselle.
General Information
Hartselle Fire and Rescue offers scheduled station tours and fire prevention activities. To burn in the city limits of Hartselle you must go by either fire station and fill out a "Burn Notification" application.
The Alabama Department of Environmental Management place Morgan County in a "No Burn" every year from May 1st to October 31st.
Open burn season is from November 1st to April 30th.
