The Criminal Investigations Division (CID) is responsible for conducting in-depth investigations into crimes that affect our community. Our team of highly trained investigators is dedicated to seeking justice for victims and ensuring the safety of our residents through thorough investigative work, cutting-edge technology, and strong community partnerships.

CID handles a wide range of cases, including violent crimes, property crimes, fraud, and other serious offenses. In addition to investigative work, our team frequently engages with the public by providing educational presentations to schools, churches, and civic organizations, addressing crime trends and prevention strategies. 

The division also specializes in narcotics investigations, particularly cases involving illegal drug distribution, forged prescriptions, and incidents resulting in serious injury or death. Our investigators work closely with local, state, and federal partners to combat drug-related crime and protect our community.
