Welcome to the Hartselle Police Department’s webpage.

Our webpage provides an overview of the department and essential contact information. We also keep our community updated through our social media pages on Facebook and X, where you can find real-time updates on important weather information, felony arrests, community activities, and other local events.

The Hartselle Police Department is staffed with 33 full-time officers, 4 part-time officers, and 2 civilian employees, and we proudly serve a community of 16,142 residents. We are dedicated to working closely with the community to address and solve local issues effectively.

As for myself, I have been a part of the Hartselle Police Department since January 1999 and was appointed Chief of Police in March 2025. I began my career as a booking clerk, transitioning to patrol in the same year. I later joined the Criminal Investigation Division, advancing through the ranks from Sergeant to Lieutenant. In the fall of 2023, I was promoted to Captain. It has been my honor to serve in these various capacities, and I look forward to continuing to serve the community for many years to come.
