Part-Time Library Assistant

Starting Pay $8.00/HR

This position includes clerical duties, cleaning duties, interaction with Library patrons of all ages and helping with the children’s’ programs.

Qualifications for this position:

  1. A High School Diploma or GED and a valid Alabama Driver’s License.
  2. Ability to use Apple computers, and common computer software programs, especially Microsoft Word & Excel, and other standard office equipment.
  3. Must be able to learn the Dewey Decimal System.
  4. The ability to work with and communicate with the general public. Prefer someone who works well with children.
